Note to Self:

Braking suddenly on a new mountain bike (complete with suspension system) to avoid a collision with an elderly gentleman and his dog who just became visible around the curve at the bottom of the hill is not advisable. Attempting said manouver at 25-30mph will result in being thrown head-first over the front of your handle-bars.

(At least I didn’t run down that old dude and his dog.)

And yes, I’m fine, just a few scrapes and bruises, and the need of a new helmet… learning how to take a fall in high-school wrestling probably protected me as much as that helmet did.

So, how was your Saturday?
